For fall 2012, J. Mendel offered slinky gowns, lush fur coats and tweed dresses for the new season. Grounded in ash, black, ivory, champagne and amethyst hues–autumn had a romantic levity despite the dark color palette. Designer Giles Mendel also offered shorter hemlines with flirty, above the knee skirts matched with furry vests. For the finale, model Kati Nescher closed the show in a completely sheer number adorned with patchwork-like patterns.

In 2009, KAY DANE introduced itself to the world through a diffusion line of tanks, tees and leggings. Then in 2010 the Los Angeles based line, unveiled its complete collection with the launch of a brand new website and an artistic perspective of “comfy couture”. The label embodied artsy edgy women’s wear fabricated with the softest cotton blends. The new collection was much inspired by the seventies and eighties while sustaining a couture heartbeat.

The KAY DANE 2010 spring and summer collection gave fashion savvy stylistas a diminutive taste of the fabulosity from the creative mind of designer Kayla Shelton. Refocused on branding, the current collection, scene on the newly released website, fuses socialista dresses, glam rock leggings and sultry jumpsuits.
